Foundation Repair Solutions

Helical Piers

J.D. Johnson Waterproofing installs helical pier systems to repair foundation settlement issues. Helical piers can permanently stabilize a foundation and make the home level again. Helical piers differ from push piers, another foundation settlement repair solution, because we “screw” helical piers into the ground instead of pushing them in. The installation of helical piers is quick and efficient because it requires minimal excavation and does not depend on the weather condition.

We offer helical piers in square and round shafts for our customers. Square shaft piers correct tension (uplift) situations, and round shaft piers repair compression (downward) situations.

Helical piers have significant load-bearing capability and can repair compression (upward) and tension (downward) applications.

Push Piers

Push piers, often referred to as resistance piers, are a foundation settlement repair method for homes and other structures. Our Foundation Repair Specialists drive the push piers deep into the soil to lift and support weak foundations for commercial buildings, brick structures, and residential homes. We exclusively use the Earth Contact Products (ECP) Steel Push Pier System.

We hydraulically drive the steel piers through the patented steel bracket to a load-bearing stratum, and the entire structure works as the reaction. The PPB-350 pier system can close cracks in masonry and restore settlement even on the heaviest structures. The ECP PPB-350 provides the strongest support for your foundation.
